Biography
Dr. Spitalnick is a Clinical Psychologist who serves as the Director of Research and Clinical Services at Virtually Better, Inc. (VBI), in Decatur, Georgia. Dr. Spitalnick is the recipient of numerous clinical, research, and technology awards, including the Kirschstein National Research Service Award from NIMH, and in 2009 was awarded a DoD contract that, to date, represents the largest deployment of virtual reality technology within the Department of Defense, tasked to address the psychological needs of Wounded Warriors. Dr. Spitalnick is the owner and clinical director of Anxiety Specialists of Atlanta.
