Kimberly Hubbard graduated cum laude from the University of Portland with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2018. Following graduation, she worked at NW Anxiety Institute in Portland, OR then spent a year as a Research Assistant for the Scientific Resource Center for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. Kim then spent a year working at the VA Portland Healthcare System conducting research with female Veterans who had been diagnosed with PTSD related to military sexual trauma. Mentored by Dr. Amie Newins, her main research interests are risk factors for interpersonal violence and PTSD following sexual assault. Kim grew up on an island in Washington state, so she enjoys spending her free time at the beach and watching Seahawks games.
