Biography

Dr.Owens received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with honors from the University of Georgia. Following graduation, she worked as a research coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Center for Anxiety and Traumatic Stress Disorders. Maryann completed her M.S. in 2013 and her  Ph.D. in 2016 in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Her clinical research interests center on the implemenetation and dissemination of efficacious treatment for anxiety disorders, in particular posttraumatic stress disorders. Dr. Owens is a clinical psychologist at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare Systems.
