Michelle Brownstein joined UCF RESTORES in October 2023 as a Behavioral Health Navigator. Michelle has a background in Forensic Psychology and Criminal Justice. She earned her Master of Arts degree at John Jay College in New York City. Prior to joining UCF RESTORES, Michelle worked as a psychometrist, administering neuropsychological and psychological assessments to patients with Alzheimer’s Disease, Cognitive Impairment, Anxiety, and Depression. Michelle is passionate about research geared towards mental health and the seeking of innovations. She is empathic towards the first responder population, as her father is a recently retired member of the New York City Fire Department, and her late grandfather also served in World War II. Michelle is excited to be in a position where she can give back to her community, raise awareness, and provide resources to those in need.
