Biography
Sarah Deibner joined UCF RESTORES in September 2023 as a Behavioral Health Navigator before later moving into the Clinical Case Coordinator position. Sarah earned her Bachelor of Social Work at Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL and her Master of Social Work from the University of Central Florida. Prior to joining UCF RESTORES, Sarah worked as a mental health therapist to adults and children who have experienced trauma and have had difficulties with substance use. She conducted evidence-based practices to treat mental health disorders and symptoms of trauma. Sarah has a deep understanding of the culture of first responders due to being married to an Orange County Firefighter/Paramedic who works in special operations. She was also raised in a military family and her sister currently serves as a Naval Officer. She has a passion for psychoeducation and assisting clients through their healing journey. Sarah is a mother to the sweetest toddler. She is excited to serve the first responder community and advocate for the needs of people who have experienced trauma.
