Biography

Shelby Baker graduated magna cum laude from the University of Utah with a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in English, where she then worked as a research associate and coordinator at the National Center for Veterans Studies and the Social Motivation and Imaging Laboratory.  She is a doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology Program and a member of UCF RESTORES.  Mentored by Dr. Rozek, her research focuses on understanding and improving the effectiveness of treatments for PTSD and suicide within military and first responder populations.  She enjoys ice skating, skiing, playing soccer, and writing.
