Biography

Suzie Nazzaro joined UCF RESTORES in 2022 as a Research Coordinator after spending 20 years as an educator and senior administrator with Orange County Public Schools.  She holds a B.S. in Secondary English Education from UCF, as well as a Master’s in Educational Leadership from American College of Education.  Married to a law enforcement officer, Suzie understands the pressures and stresses felt by first responders and their loved ones.  Suzie is passionate about supporting awareness of mental health for those who feel compelled to serve their fellow man.  Her goal is to assist first responders in becoming better educated on identifying the signs of PTSD and treatment options available.  In her free time, Suzie enjoys volunteering with various law enforcement charities and spending time with her husband and their pets.
