Biography

Daniela Florez graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Crime, Law, and Deviance. As an undergraduate, she gained diverse work experience across healthcare and correctional settings. She also served as a research assistant with UCF RESTORES and the Personality & Relationship Development/Dynamics Research Group. Daniela is currently a doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology Program under the mentorship of Dr. Clint Bowers. Her research focuses on identifying risk and protective factors within high-risk work environments, with a particular focus on healthcare settings, to inform prevention and intervention strategies that promote well-being and strengthen resilience.
