UCF RESTORES was honored to watch Mayor Buddy Dyer officially designate Orlando as a Purple Heart City. The Purple Heart is the oldest military award still given to U.S. military members who were wounded or killed while serving. To commemorate this occasion, purple signs will be placed throughout Orlando in representation of our city’s appreciation for these courageous individuals.
